Your body does extraordinary things for you every day

So do we

We are Bendigo’s leading physios and clinical exercise instructors.

We help you move through pain, injury and major life changes by listening to you and learning about you.

Teaching you what’s caused your pain and why, we empower you to treat the issue and educate you to reduce risk of it happening again.

Applying the latest physio research and innovative exercise solutions in our purpose-built Bendigo clinic, we help you to take control of your health – body, mind and soul.

We’re teachers, wellness advocators and health myth busters and we love what we do.

MEET YOUR PHYSIO TEAM

Leah McErvale

Physiotherapist

As your Physiotherapist I strive to help you achieve your goals by accurately diagnosing your injury and establishing a plan with you to get you back doing the things that you love. Setting the foundations and giving you the control to reach your goals is what I love to do! Using a combination of exercise and manual therapy, you will walk out of 3D Physio feeling like you are in control of your health and stepping in the right direction to live your best life.

I believe that exercise is not only good for your body (think muscles, bones and joints) it also has well established benefits on your emotional, social, mental and physical wellbeing.  Our group classes are a great way to achieve your goals and stay connected to like-minded people. I can also develop a home program, or gym program specifically for you.

I have now settled in Bendigo after moving here from Ballarat at the start of my university degree. Bendigo is now the place I call home and I love the warmer weather too!

In my spare time I love to catch up with friends and family, playing netball, going for as walk or going to the gym. I also enjoy cooking and playing with my puppy, Arlo.

Ollie Malley

Physiotherapist

Health and wellness are my focus, with a helping hand to getting you to achieve your full potential! We’ll not only chat about your current pain or injury, but also about your overall health goals and what drives you to continue to push yourself to the next level.

Getting you active and moving through structured exercise sessions, including group classes is such a powerful tool I use to help you achieve your full potential.

Outside of the clinic you’ll find me swimming, biking, and running at triathlons, so I know the demands of sport. With the addition of my experience as Sports Trainer at a local football club, I have the skills in managing acute injuries on the field and working through recovery to get you back on the field/court/pitch.

I’m originally from Tassie, but Bendigo feels like home after I fell in love with the town when I moved here for uni.

My areas of interest are:

  • Lower limb injuries

  • Running injuries

  • Exercise and strength training

  • Lower back and neck pain

Credentials

  • Bachelor of Applied Science/Master of Physiotherapy

Brodie Leonard-Shannon

Senior Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor

My role as your physio is to empower you to become the best version of yourself and achieve your goals, however big or small they may be. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know all about you and how we can work together to get you where you want to be.

I am a strong advocate for using exercise and strength training to get you moving. To do this, I use the experience I had from working as an Exercise Scientist before starting my career as a Physiotherapist. I also believe that manual therapy can be a powerful tool in improving your pain and function.

I’m born and bred in Bendigo and have played football here for over 20 years. I understand the physical demands of competitive sports and how difficult being injured can be. Getting you back to doing what you love is what motivates me to keep learning and improving as a physio.

Outside of the clinic you’ll find me spending time with my family and catching up with friends.

Tegan French

Senior Vestibular and Neurological Physiotherapist

Dizziness, vertigo and balance problems are my thing!  I get a kick out of empowering people to know about their body’s amazing balance systems and how incredible our vestibular system is.

“I guess this is just old age” is not a phrase my clients get away with using. Getting old does not mean being dizzy and unbalanced. Our bodies are designed to move and getting people back to enjoying movement and feeling confident after having vertigo or a fall is something I love to achieve.

With a background in neurological physiotherapy, I treat the person as a whole and not just their presenting problem. You might be seeing me for dizziness, but you bet we will be working on your balance and general health at the same time.

I continue to be fascinated with how awesome our brains are, and have just finished a Masters in Neurological Physiotherapy with my research project focused on dizziness post concussion.

My areas of interest are:

  • Vestibular conditions (dizziness and vertigo)

  • Concussion management

  • Balance and falls prevention

  • Neurological conditions

Credentials

  • Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy), Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation, Bachelor of Physiotherapy

  • APA Titled Neurological Physiotherapist

  • Advanced and Competency-based Vestibular Physiotherapy training

  • APA Neurological Victorian Group committee Member and Vestibular Special Interest Group Member

  • Level 1 Dry Needling

Erryn

Receptionist

Erryn came to Bendigo in 1998 where she met her partner Ben shortly after. She has worked in retail for almost 30 years and is looking forward to learning more about the health services.

Erryn's favourite things include her kitten Vincent, spending time in the garden, relaxing on the couch with a good book and of course attending Julie's Essential Pilates class!!

Jed Rodda

Physiotherapist

Jed grew up in Bendigo where he completed his entire childhood schooling and dual degree at Latrobe University. Jed comes from a health and fitness advocating family where he developed a love for sport from the moment he could stand. In the past Jed has competed in sports including tennis, swimming and basketball but still currently plays AFL and cricket. Jed’s journey to becoming a private practice physiotherapist stemmed from childhood sporting injuries where he spent time with knowledgeable and highly communicable physiotherapists he admired. Jed’s love of problem solving, passion for advocating health and wellbeing and desire to utilise his knowledge to help people are all reasons he strives in the Physiotherapy work environment.

When Jed isn’t at 3D, he loves to spend his spare time kicking the footy, hitting the gym, running the streets of Bendigo, and of course regularly catching up with family and friends. Jed’s key interests within the business are strength and conditioning, dry needling, and reformer Pilates.

Jed joined 3D Physiotherapy Health group after working in a private practice in Geelong and is now extremely excited about a move back to his true home in Bendigo. Jed was highly interested in 3D Physiotherapy given their friendly, enthusiastic environment and staff, building of strong client relationships and commitment to treating the entire individual not just the injury. Jed’s primary interests and areas he thrives are knee and ankle injuries, lower back pain and development of strength and conditioning programs in combination with hands on manual therapy.

Sheena Carney

Senior Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor

Physio starts with identifying the root cause of your issues and developing a plan to get you back on track. I’m all about giving you the tools to take control of your health and helping you achieve your goals.

I believe exercise is the best way to empower you to manage your symptoms so working with me means you’ll have an active recovery. As a long distance runner (and mum of three!), I find it hard to sit still so I feel your frustration when your body doesn’t work like it should.

My 20 years of physio experience have seen me work in public and private practice in the UK and Melbourne. My expertise is in musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation and fracture management.

I’m now settled here in Bendigo with my husband and children. As well as working at 3D Physio, I’m a Specialist Orthopaedic Physiotherapist at Bendigo Health in an outpatient role and a primary contact practitioner in the Emergency Department.

I most enjoy working with:

  • Running related injuries

  • Antenatal exercise and pregnancy related conditions

  • Post -surgery/fracture management

Credentials

  • Advanced Practice Physiotherapist – Fast Track in the Emergency Dept and Post Arthroplasty Clinic (after joint replacement)

  • Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Julie Sheahan

A born and bred Bendigo girl, I love leading the team at 3D. I have had the privilege of looking after the people of Bendigo both in the private and public sectors for over 30 years!

I have recently stopped treating clients myself as it’s time for me to focus on working ON this fabulous little business rather than IN it so much.

I am still here working full-time mentoring and collaborating with our amazing team.  If any of our physios need to discuss your management with me, I am really happy to offer my input and experience.

I continue to enjoy running some of our Pilates-Inspired exercise classes as well as our Strong For Life sessions, which I love😊

My focus moving forward will be:

  • Helping my team to be the best that they can be through a strong and supportive team culture, our leadership program and close one to one mentoring with each of them every week.

  • Continually reviewing our services and developing new and innovative ways to provide the best of care to our clients

  • Learning, sharing and meeting with great business people and mentors who help me stay ahead of the curve in terms of business success and leadership of myself and my team

Charlotte

Receptionist

I am 3D’s receptionist and I also look after our social media profiles.

I am a pregnancy and postpartum doula and photographer, have just completed a certificate in the history and philosophy of complementary health and am looking to further my studies next year in the areas of women’s cyclical health and fertility. So I care about all things health and wellbeing.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, practicing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, cooking and creative pursuits.

Sue

Receptionist

Here to give you a warm welcome in our clinic or over the phone, I’m 3D’s Receptionist. I love fielding enquiries, booking appointments and keeping the clinic ship shape.

I worked for Bendigo’s Keech Castings for 25 years in finance and admin, so I bring a lot of expertise managing the behind the scenes machinery that keep a business running smoothly.

A lifelong tennis player, I retired a few years ago after a shoulder injury meant I couldn’t hit the courts any longer.

When I’m not at work, I’m browsing homeware stores, exercising, cooking, gardening or with my family and friends. I’m an active volunteer with the Bendigo Oncology Consumer Group. I’ve done numerous cancer fundraisers because cancer touches everyone somehow, sometime. If I can help make even a small difference it’s totally worth it.
